8 Spruce Street

New York by Gehry is a 76-story mixed-use building at 8 Spruce Street, between William and Nassau Streets in Lower Manhattan. The building includes a 600-seat public elementary school and ground floor retail, with residential uses above. The site also includes a through-block plaza fronting on Beekman and Spruce Streets. PHA prepared the environmental review document required for the project pursuant to SEQRA (in connection with the siting of the school). The firm also provided civil engineering services for the development, including design of the plaza grading and drainage as well as the builders pavement plans.
