PHA provided civil engineering services for the modernization and expansion of Harlem Hospital in Manhattan. The project involved demolition of several antiquated buildings on the seven-building campus and construction of a new Patient Pavilion on Lenox Avenue between West 136th and West 137th Streets. The new pavilion connects two existing pavilions to create one larger building complex. PHA’s tasks included preparation of the grading plan, builders pavement plan, internal drainage plans and design of internal catch basins, and realignment of an existing water main.
