Empire State Development recently constructed a 1.2 million square foot expansion of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan to increase the convention center capacity and create a new truck marshalling and loading dock facility. As a subconsultant to Stantec, PHA provided civil engineering services including sewer relocation plans, builders pavement plans, street lighting and signal plans, site connection proposal plans, truck turning movement and access studies, and related agency coordination. The firm also provided construction inspection services for the 48-inch combined sewer located within the building footprint.
