Civil Engineer, Environmental Review
PHA is the civil engineer for the major renovation and redevelopment of One Wall Street, which occupies the full city block bound by Broadway, Wall Street, New Street and Exchange Place. The landmark art deco tower and its 1963 annex are being converted to residential use with ground floor retail in the annex portion. PHA's responsibilities included preparation of the builders pavement plans, street tree plans, a NYCDOT vault application, and a NYCDOT curb cut application, as well as traffic analysis and associated agency coordination. The firm also prepared an Environmental Assessment Statement (EAS) required in connection with the application to the NYC Board of Standards and Appeals to obtain a special permit to allow a health club in the annex building.
