Powerhouse Arts Center

Powerhouse is a 170,000 square foot arts and fabrication center located in a former power plant building in Gowanus, Brooklyn.  The site fronts directly on the Gowanus Canal, and has street access from a previously unbuilt portion of 2nd Street west of Third Avenue. PHA's responsibilities included grading and drainage design, design of a new sewer and water main, and preparation of the builders pavement plan, as well as associated agency coordination for related approvals.
