Ridge Hill Village Center is a mixed-use development comprising approximately 1.3 million square feet of retail, approximately 150,000 square feet of office and research facilities, approximately 800 residential units, and a 350-room hotel. This project involved redevelopment of an 81.4 acre site in the City of Yonkers adjacent to the New York State Thruway and the Sprain Brook Parkway.

PHA prepared the transportation analyses for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and developed the plans for access to the site, including a new interchange from the New York State Thruway, reconfiguration of an exit ramp from the Sprain Brook Parkway, a site access roadway, a new traffic signal system, and plans for transit services. PHA also prepared the maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) plans associated with this work.

PHA, as subconsultant, provided office engineering and construction inspection services for activities which included demolition of the existing Bates Bridge and construction of the new Ridge Hill Boulevard Bridge at the Exit 6A interchange on the NYS Thruway. The bridge interchange also included stream diversion, two new culverts, water main installation and extensive MPT.
